  • online
  • Start date: 30 September

Format and terms of participation:

  • Nine modules, one per month, online.

  • Each session lasts four hours, supplemented by recorded lectures.

  • Fee: €100 per session (module).

  • Homework assignments and peer-supervision groups between modules, for collaborative work on the themes and exercises proposed by the facilitators.

  • Admission is by interview.

Who is this programme for?

  1. Psychotherapists and psychologists (both those starting out and experienced practitioners who work with issues of relocation and adaptation).

  2. Supervisors and educators (seeking to formalise their approach to "emigration-related" presentations).

  3. Therapists with personal experience of relocation (who wish to integrate it into their practice).

Who is this programme for?

  1. Your clients live between cultures and are facing the loss of status, language, and familiar surroundings.

  2. You wish to support clients through the process of emigration with confidence from the decision to leave through to the rebuilding of stable foundations.

  3. You value community, depth, and a structured approach.

Over the course of the programme, you will gain:

  1. A map of the emigration process: the phases of adaptation, culture shock, "dual loyalty," and questions of identity and belonging.

  2. Practical tools for working individually and with couples, families, and children — and for holding the frame amid high uncertainty.

  3. Techniques and interventions for working with loss (social, professional, and linguistic), shame and guilt, regression, and aggression as a resource.

  4. Practice and case work: live demonstrations, small-group work, discussion of real cases, and homework with feedback.

  5. Materials: checklists, worksheets, and recommended reading.

  6. A certificate of completion and specialisation (upon fulfilment of the requirements).
